Happy New Year

Happy new year! I hope you all had a wonderful break. I celebrated new year by getting covid so that was a bummer! At least I was okay for Christmas though so it wasn’t all bad. Once I was feeling better I started by making new art goals and a business plan. I also joined skillshare to improve my pattern designs. This was one of my goals this year.

My blog this year will be focusing more on my process and inspiration. A really useful app for this is called Concepts. Yes I know I have collected yet another app! I have found myself using it every day to plan out illustrations and keep track of ideas. It has a infinite canvas so you just pan over and start again. I do have another app from ages ago called Made with Mischief on my desktop which is similar but I found because it was on my desktop I just didn’t really use it. Concepts is on Ipad and desktop but I just got it for my Ipad. Its vector based too so that's handy. Here's a little visual of what I use it for.

This year my blog will be a little less frequent. At this stage I am thinking every 2 weeks. I might have more to share in-between some weeks so I will do that when I do. This will make it more manageable while I am working.
