Hello, my name is Phillipa and I am an illustrator from Rolleston, New Zealand. I love to create cute illustrations and fantasy art. My mission is to delight and enrich peoples lives through my artwork.  

I have been drawing all my life and I started out as a traditional artist. Now, my professional work is all digital. However, I still love my primascolor pencils in my sketchbook. In the past, I have done children’s books and surface design. These days I create colourful art for walls and cards. I am also currently creating my first comic book.   

I have a background in science (veterinary) and graphic design. These skills have helped my drawing skills immensely when it comes to anatomy of animals and navigating all the digital tools available for drawing.

In case you were wondering about my business name its a mix of English and Punjabi as my husband is from Punjab. Ishq means love so this seemed appropriate to include.
